Injection molding and quality assurance

– introduction to injection molding

A successful injection molded part has four main criteria. A good design – A suitable material – Molded with a proper process – In a capable mold.

At this seminar, we aim to give users of molded plastic parts an insight to how the different types of plastic materials should be molded. This insight will enable a better discussion with the molder, make your choice of parts easier and make basis for discussing which process is the right one for your injection molded parts. It can also be a starting point for further studying processing of specific materials.

This seminar will be a mix of demonstration around the different machines at ‘Den Jydske Haandværkerskole’ and presentations from leading European injection molding companies. There will be cases, which focus on the economics of metal parts versus plastic parts, as well as on quality assurance.

Who should attend? The seminar has been developed to meet the needs of part designers, technical procurement specialist and employees working with quality assurance. It can also be used as an introduction to injection molding for those new to the process or a comprehensive brush-up for those already familiar with the subject.
